What is in each PDF
- Text, shapes, charts, QR codes and barcodes are vector, so they stay sharp when you zoom in or print.
- Your fonts go inside the file. You can pick any Google font, and people can select, copy and search the text.
- Each page has the size of your template. One PDF holds up to 100 pages.
- Photos go in as JPEG or PNG. We draw gradients, blur and shadows as a picture at 3 times the size, so they print sharp too. The text on top of them stays selectable.
- A batch makes one PDF for each row of your list, plus a ZIP file of all of them.

Questions
Does it take HTML?
No. You make the template in our visual editor, and we draw it with our own engine. That is why each PDF looks the same as the last one. To print an existing HTML page, use a headless browser or an HTML-to-PDF service. Our HTML to image guide compares the ways.
Is the text in the PDF real text?
Yes. We draw each letter as an exact shape and put an invisible text layer on top. People can select, copy and search the text.
How is a PDF billed?
One credit for each page. A one-page certificate costs one credit. If you send the same template and data again, we send the stored file and you pay nothing.
What page sizes can I use?
The page is the size of the template. 1 pixel is 0.75 points, so a 1123 × 794 px template gives an A4 landscape page. One PDF can have up to 100 pages.
Can I make many PDFs at once?
Yes. Send rows, a CSV file or the link to a public Google Sheet to the batch API. You get one PDF for each row, and a ZIP file with all of them.
