# MintRender > MintRender turns a template plus data into a finished image (PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG) or PDF, through an API, signed image links, bulk jobs from a CSV, no-code tools and an MCP server for AI assistants. - 1 image or 1 PDF page = 1 credit. The same template version and the same data again gives the same file, at no cost (`cached: true`). - Auth: `Authorization: Bearer mr_live_…` (or `mr_test_…`: watermark, no cost). Base URL: https://mintrender.com/v1 - Errors are JSON: `{"error": {"code", "message", "field", "request_id"}}`; `field` names the bad value, like `data.title.color`. - Formats: PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG and PDF from one template. PDF text is real text: people can select, copy and search it. - No code needed: design in the browser editor, then fill the template from n8n, Make, a CSV file, a Google Sheet, or Claude and ChatGPT over MCP. - Previews, repeats of the same file, test keys and failed renders cost no credits. ## API - GET /healthz: Health check - GET /v1/templates: List templates - POST /v1/templates: Create a template from a scene - POST /v1/templates/generate: Make a draft template from a description (AI) - GET /v1/templates/{id}: Get a template, its params and versions - DELETE /v1/templates/{id}: Delete a template - PUT /v1/templates/{id}/draft: Save the draft scene - POST /v1/templates/{id}/publish: Publish the draft as a new version - POST /v1/templates/{id}/duplicate: Copy a template (its draft) - POST /v1/assets: Upload an image or CSV - GET /v1/assets: List assets - GET /v1/assets/{id}/uses: Templates that use an asset - DELETE /v1/assets/{id}: Delete an asset - POST /v1/render: Render a template - DELETE /v1/renders/{id}: Cancel a queued job - GET /v1/renders/{id}: Get a render or job - POST /v1/batch: Render many rows - GET /v1/batch/{id}: Get a batch: counts and each row's render - GET /v1/batch/{id}/zip: Download a batch's ZIP - POST /v1/webhooks: Add a webhook - GET /v1/webhooks: List webhooks - DELETE /v1/webhooks/{id}: Delete a webhook - GET /v1/deliveries: Recent webhook deliveries (every try) - POST /v1/deliveries/{id}/resend: Send a delivery again - GET /v1/usage: Credits and renders this period - POST /v1/preview: A free low-res preview with a watermark - GET /v1/assets/{id}/file: Download an asset's file - POST /v1/links: Make a signed link ## Docs - [Full API reference for LLMs](https://mintrender.com/llms-full.txt): every endpoint, field, error and the signed link algorithm - [OpenAPI 3.1](https://mintrender.com/v1/openapi.json): the machine-readable API - [Quick start](https://mintrender.com/docs): From no account to your first image, and a map of these docs. - [API keys](https://mintrender.com/docs/authentication): Live keys, test keys with a watermark, where to make them and how to send them. - [Errors](https://mintrender.com/docs/errors): The error format, every HTTP status and every error code of the API. - [Render API](https://mintrender.com/docs/render): POST /v1/render: every field, sync and async answers, the file in the answer, previews. - [Formats, sizes, PDF](https://mintrender.com/docs/formats): PNG, JPEG, WebP, SVG and PDF; extra sizes; scale and quality; PDF pages; pixel limits. - [Batches and CSV](https://mintrender.com/docs/batch): One file per row from JSON rows, an uploaded CSV or a CSV link, with one ZIP at the end. - [Jobs and webhooks](https://mintrender.com/docs/webhooks): Async jobs, polling, webhook events, the signature check and retries. - [Signed links](https://mintrender.com/docs/signed-links): Image URLs that render when they are opened, signed in your own code. - [Idempotency](https://mintrender.com/docs/idempotency): Send a request again without a second charge. - [Templates and JSON](https://mintrender.com/docs/templates): Drafts, versions and the scene JSON: every layer type and every field. - [Template data](https://mintrender.com/docs/data): How the values in data change a template: short values, objects, pages, errors. - [Text and fonts](https://mintrender.com/docs/text-and-fonts): Text fit, line limits, markup, Google Fonts, languages and emoji. - [Images and assets](https://mintrender.com/docs/assets): Upload images and CSV files, or use image URLs in data. - [AI templates](https://mintrender.com/docs/ai-templates): Make a draft template from a short description. - [Credits](https://mintrender.com/docs/credits): What costs a credit, what is free, the credit period, plan changes, overage and GET /v1/usage. - [Limits](https://mintrender.com/docs/limits): Rate limits, plan limits and the size limit of every request and file. - [Files and keeping](https://mintrender.com/docs/files): Where files live, who can open them and how long we keep them. - [AI assistants (MCP)](https://mintrender.com/docs/mcp): Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client. - [n8n](https://mintrender.com/docs/n8n): The HTTP Request node, with workflow files to import. - [Make](https://mintrender.com/docs/make): The HTTP module settings for one image and for one file per sheet row. - [API reference](https://mintrender.com/docs/api): Every route, made from the OpenAPI file. - [HTML to image](https://mintrender.com/docs/html-to-image): A headless browser, Satori or a template API: what each one takes. ## MCP - https://mintrender.com/mcp: MCP server (Streamable HTTP).
