Credit rules

Switchboard Canvas

  • The unit is an API call, which can make one or more images (1, 3 or 5 sizes by plan). source
  • Calls over the monthly amount cost $0.10 each. source
  • Results stay at their URL for 7 days. source

MintRender

  • One image or one PDF page costs one credit, for every template and every format.
  • If you send the same template and data again, you get the stored file for free. Previews, test keys and failed renders also cost nothing.
  • Extra credits are off until you turn them on, and you set a monthly spending limit. Unused credits do not carry over.

Move from Switchboard Canvas

Make the template again in the MintRender editor (or start from a template), give each changing layer the same field name, then change the API call.

Switchboard Canvas source

curl -X POST <Switchboard API URL> \ -H "X-API-Key: $SWITCHBOARD_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{ "template": "quote", "sizes": [{ "width": 1080, "height": 1080 }], "elements": { "quote": { "text": "A problem shared is a problem halved." } } }'

MintRender

curl -X POST https://mintrender.com/v1/render \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $MINTRENDER_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{ "template": "YOUR_TEMPLATE_ID", "data": { "quote": "A problem shared is a problem halved." }, "format": "png" }'
  • Each element becomes one field in data, with its text as the value. Sizes are named in the MintRender template (sizes in the request picks them).
  • The API page we read shows the call as POST / and does not give the host, so it stays a placeholder here.
