MintRender vs Abyssale
Abyssale is a design tool for teams that makes images, PDFs, animations and HTML5 ads from templates, with an API, dynamic image URLs and an MCP server on its Pro plan and up. Below are the prices, the credit rules and the features of both, and when each one is the better pick for you.

Pick Abyssale when
- A marketing team designs together and needs animated MP4, GIF and HTML5 ads, or print-ready CMYK PDFs.
- You want spreadsheets (CSV, Excel, Google Sheets) connected inside the design tool.
Pick MintRender when
- You pay per file, not per seat: the table compares one Abyssale seat, and MintRender costs less at each volume.
- You need the API on the first paid plan: Abyssale's Start plan has no API, MCP or integrations.
- You want signed links: Abyssale's dynamic image URLs are public, with no signature.
- You want a free plan: Abyssale has a 14-day trial.

Credit rules
Abyssale
- One static image (JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or web PDF) = 1 credit; animated MP4, GIF and HTML5 = 1 credit a second. source
- Plans are per seat, each seat with its own credits; extra generation credits cost $0.01 each and do not expire. source
- The Start plan ($15 a seat) has no API, so the table starts at Pro. source
- Each new dynamic image URL costs 1 credit, then comes from the cache. source
MintRender
- One image or one PDF page costs one credit, for every template and every format.
- If you send the same template and data again, you get the stored file for free. Previews, test keys and failed renders also cost nothing.
- Extra credits are off until you turn them on, and you set a monthly spending limit. Unused credits do not carry over.
